- Tim Deacon Review added: 2018.11.16★ ★ ★ ★ ★If you're anywhere near Maldon, and your looking for a bite to eat, you won't beat this place. Food is exceptional. I had pork shank in a cider and apple sauce, and the wife had mussels. Portion sizes are very generous, very reasonably priced, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Cannot fault the place.

After our walk we had a lovely meal, from a wide selection on specials and their main menu. Great food, great service. Shame they only had small car park but was easy to park on side road very close by.
