  I have been with this doctors surgery for a few years - when I previously lived in Maldon and more recently. My review is mostly about the receptionists are really rude and disrespectful. I called the surgery as my husband had hurt his back and was unable to move. I explained however that we had moved out of the area and myself and daughter had moved surgery already although my husband was still registered in Maldon at the advice of the doctor who was trying to get his medication for his diabetes correct as he was having issues. The receptionist was more interested in telling me off than sympathising with the serious issue at hand. She spoke over me and wouldn't let me explain the issue. She kept saying it wasn't fair to local residents. I calmly said to her that what she was saying was correct but we was only going on the advice that the doctor had given him. She still went on telling me that the manager would strike him off. I tried to get a word in and respectfully said that it wasn't that we simply couldn't be bothered to register elsewhere. I tried to explain to her that she is dealing with vulnerable people and that maybe should could consider this when dealing with people in her line of job. I even said to her human to human can you not have a little compassion. She was so angry and not understanding. I'm disgusted with the treatment especially as my husband was in extreme pain not able to move.
